SUMMARY
- AI-based vertical SaaS startup Endra has raised €3 million in Pre-Seed funding. Endra’s platform is an AI-powered system for MEP design. It automates tasks like paperwork, system planning, and following rules.
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems are key to making buildings work well and stay eco-friendly. They help reduce energy use and cut down on building emissions, which make up nearly 30% of global pollution.
The $79 billion MEP market is still mostly old-fashioned and relies on manual work. At the same time, there is growing pressure to follow green building rules, meet strict energy laws, and use smart technology from the start. The industry is also struggling with a big shortage of skilled engineers.

In tests, it made the design process over 70 times faster, cutting work that usually takes months down to just a few hours.
Engineers keep full control over the final checks, while Endra takes care of the time-consuming tasks.
Endra works smoothly with current industry tools, helping consultants and design-build firms lower costs, cut wasted time, and choose greener options without losing quality.
Even though the company started in October 2024, it has already attracted strong interest from big MEP firms, leading to several letters of intent (LOIs) with some of the largest consultants in Europe.
Their earlier company, Sectragon, was bought by a public private equity firm.
They are now joined by technical co-founders Gustav Hammarlund and David Rydberg, who have experience building important systems for Goldman Sachs’ equity trading platforms in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Niklas Lindgren, co-founder and CEO of Endra AI shared:
“In the Endra ecosystem, general contractors and MEP consultants will be able to interface each other seamlessly — in a way never experienced before.
Given the interest we have had our first 8 months, Endra is really being set up for solid hyper growth.”
According to Alexander Danielsson, Partner at Norrsken VC:
“This is one of those rare cases where everything lines up: serial entrepreneurs with extensive knowledge of the industry, coupled with deep tech expertise that can stir up a bi,g underdeveloped market.
The MEP design process is overdue for AI-driven change. With up to 80 per cent of the work being repetitive and ripe for automation, Endra offers a clear path to faster, smarter, and more sustainable construction, with a business model where everyone wins.”
The funding will speed up product development, grow the team, and prepare the company to expand internationally. They plan to enter the US, UK, and German markets within the next two years.
About Endra
Endra was started by a team with strong knowledge and skills in the field. Niklas Lindgren and Anton Juric are experienced entrepreneurs who had built a company for technical security solutions before. While working there, they saw how slow and difficult MEP design was, which inspired them to create Endra.
