Value Creation Capital is a Dutch deep-tech investor with strong expertise in cybersecurity and defense, offering valuable industry insights and a robust network within the high-tech sector.

Ronald Wissink, Managing Partner at Value Creation Capita,l says, “We believe LiveDrop’s groundbreaking technology will become a vital and additional asset for secure data transfer across Defence, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare sectors. We’re proud to support LiveDrop’s experienced team as they scale and expand their impact.”

The funding round also saw strong backing from existing investors, including Patronum Investment, along with a group of experienced angel investors.

Among them is Cees Links, a well-known industry pioneer credited as one of the founding figures behind Wi-Fi technology. The deal was officially signed on June 18, 2025.

Patrick Moreu, CEO at LiveDrop, says, “The fact that this round was oversubscribed, and that both existing and new shareholders reaffirmed their commitment, is a powerful validation of our direction. The involvement of Secfund, Value Creation Capital, Kadmos Capital, and Wi-Fi pioneer Cees Links confirms the strength of our dual-use strategy and opens doors to broader deployment in NATO countries and beyond.”

LiveDrop will use the fresh funds to expand its technology across defense, government, and civilian sectors. The company is gearing up for international growth and aims to integrate more deeply into secure data ecosystems.

In its early stages LiveDrop received support from Rabobank, the Brabant Startup Fund and several grants. This backing laid the groundwork for the company’s rapid scaling, product standardisation and global expansion.

LiveDrop’s software-based approach runs on standard hardware—like laptops, smartphones, and cameras—and can be easily integrated into mission systems or existing software. The 12-member team is focused primarily on Defense & Security, with additional use cases in Cybersecurity, Healthcare, and secure end-user devices.
