EIGHT reports over 15,000 users with strong engagement metrics, including high retention and conversion rates, achieved with minimal marketing spend. The platform has already generated early revenue and continues to see steady user growth.
With new funding, the company plans to expand across Europe, starting with Portugal, followed by the UK, Spain, and another market, while investing in marketing, product development, and team growth.
“Dating apps are broken. People are tired of swiping endlessly and having conversations that go nowhere. EIGHT brings back what dating should be about: real human connection. We give people 8 minutes of face-to-face time with someone new every evening, and the results speak for themselves. Our retention numbers prove that when you build a product that actually delivers on its promise, people come back. We are now ready to bring this experience to the rest of Europe,” Miguel Moreira da Cruz, CEO and co-founder, EIGHT.
