Utrecht-based CryoCloud secures €500k in pre-seed funding. Nina Capital led the round, in which ROM Utrecht Region and the Utrecht Health Seed Fund also participated.
Boy Persoon, Ilja Gubins, and Robert Englmeier co-founded CryoCloud in 2021. The company offers a cloud-based cryoEM data analysis technology that makes it possible to quickly and scalably determine 3D protein structures for drug development.

Through a number of accelerator programs, the company has advanced from its conceptual beginnings to the debut of its analysis platform, which enables scientists to determine protein structures experimentally and visualize pertinent targets in their native or drug-bound states.
