Start My Claim is self-service legal software for people in the UK who run their own case instead of hiring a solicitor. It covers employment tribunal claims, small claims, scam and fraud refunds, and renters’ rights cases. 59% of UK employment tribunal claimants represent themselves at the hearing, without a solicitor, and that number is the reason the product exists. The software asks plain-English questions about what happened, explains the law, and turns the answers into the documents a court or tribunal expects, from the Letter Before Action to the claim forms and witness statements. Users pay a flat one-off fee and keep 100% of any award. Start My Claim is not a law firm and not a claims management company. It was founded by Paul Keene, who represented himself in court and built the tool he wished he had at the time.
