Cirqle Biomedical was founded in 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the support of Dr. Ljudmila Katchanhas. The company set out to develop OUI, a pioneering non-hormonal contraceptive technology designed as a fast-acting and safe alternative to traditional hormonal methods. Since its founding, Cirqle Biomedical has raised €1.6 million in funding to advance its pre-clinical development and bring a new generation of women’s health solutions to market.
