ColibriTD Raises €4 Mn to Advance Quantum-Powered Simulation Technology

ColibriTD, a Paris-based quantum software company, has raised €4 million in a Seed funding round. The company develops software for multiphysics simulation using quantum technology.

The new funding comes after Earlybird previously invested €1 million in ColibriTD’s pre-Seed round. The latest investment will help the company continue developing its quantum software and grow its business.

Founded in Paris in 2019 by Laurent Guiraud and Hacène Goudjil, ColibriTD is a DeepTech startup developing a quantum-powered multiphysics simulation platform.

The platform is built around H-DES (Hybrid Differential Equation Solver), a technology developed by ColibriTD. It uses a quantum algorithm to solve partial differential equations (PDEs), which are used to model complex real-world problems.

PDEs are important for many types of simulations, including fluid movement, changes in materials and financial risk analysis. ColibriTD aims to use quantum computing to handle these complex calculations with greater accuracy and efficiency.
