[Funding alert] Paris-based BioFluff Secures €2.2 Million in Seed Funding

Paris-based BioFluff secures €2.2 million in seed funding. Astanor Ventures, a well-known global leader in agrifood tech impact investing, led this round. This fundraising came after a €450k pre-seed round sponsored by SOSV, PDS Limited, and Joyance Partners in 2022.
BioFluff CEO Martin Steubler said, “At the close of this seed round with best-in-class impact investors, we are poised to scale our unique approach to reducing reliance on animal and synthetic-derived products in the textile industry, This investment will accelerate our mission to provide brands with better materials for a cleaner future.”

BioFluff seeks to revolutionise the luxury textiles sector by providing a novel, eco-friendly, plant-based substitute for materials derived from animals and plastic.

The vegan collection utilises natural and mineral-based dyes to provide a wide variety of materials and is completely devoid of genetically modified organisms. Leading designers and premium clothing businesses have already taken notice of Savian, which sets the bar for sustainability.
