Stuttgart-based Assemblio secures €2.1 million in funding. LEA Partners is the primary investor, with additional business angels, Mätch VC, Cross Atlantic Angels, Integra, and Silver Scale also participating.
The investment association is emphasising how businesses across all industries are entering a new phase of assembly planning. There are more than 150,000 industrial enterprises with in-house product development in the DACH region alone.
For over three decades, the state of the art has remained stagnant. An huge difficulty facing businesses in the mechanical engineering, automotive, and medical technology sectors is manual assembly planning that is labor-intensive, expensive, and time-consuming.

In late 2023, the Stuttgart-based Startup Assembly, headed by Alexander Neb, Jens Popper, Florian Strieg, and Greg Rauhöft, had its market debut at the Motek assembly trade event.
Large enterprises and medium-sized industrial companies currently utilise the Assembly Composer software product, which automatically generates assembly blueprints in many formats like PDF or video and interactive 3D step-by-step instructions as an assistant.
