CEO Christiaan Hen stated that the funding represents a significant milestone for Assaia, highlighting that airports and airlines are adopting AI at an accelerated pace to meet growing operational pressures.
With Armira’s backing, we are accelerating the rollout of new technologies and expanding our footprint to deliver measurable value in some of the world’s most complex airport environments.
Assaia’s technology designed to optimize aircraft turnaround through real-time visibility and automation across apron operations, is already in use at major international airports, including New York JFK, London Heathrow, Dubai International and Toronto Pearson. The platform helps reduce delays, improve on-time performance, and enhance gate utilization.
The new funding will enable Assaia to scale its AI platform globally and develop additional solutions to boost efficiency for airports, airlines, and ground handlers. Part of the capital will support the launch of the next-generation StandManager, an AI-powered planning module that optimizes gate and stand assignments before aircraft land, improving predictability and utilization in busy, high-traffic environments.
