ARX Robotics Unveils Combat UGV Built With Ukrainian Frontline Input

Designed to enhance soldier safety in high-risk situations, the system tackles the most dangerous frontline tasks, reducing exposure to threats.

Combat Gereon was developed with direct input from Ukrainian users through a European-Ukrainian campaign which guided its testing and improvement. At the same time, ARX worked with Valhalla to integrate the weapon system and ensure the platform met European certification standards. This allows the system to quickly adapt to battlefield conditions while following regulations.

Combat Gereon will debut at DSEI UK 2025 in London (9–12 September), where it will be showcased with Valhalla Turrets’ LOKI remote-controlled weapon station, emphasizing modular payload integration and interoperability within ARX’s Mithra OS-enabled ground fleet.

Combat Gereon is designed for high-risk missions with low personnel survivability, such as reconnaissance, route clearance, and forward observation in contested areas. With remote operation capabilities and reduced operator workload ARX claims the UGV enables forces to extend their range while minimizing direct exposure.

The platform’s scalable production across European and Ukrainian facilities along with its modular payload options, allows for customization in various environments and upgrades to address evolving threats. By combining autonomous navigation, adaptable armament and fleet-level coordination, Combat Gereon broadens ARX’s offerings from support and logistics to combat-ready systems.
