Amsterdam’s Sparqle Raises €1.5M To Expand Emission-Free Delivery Across Europe

Sparqle, an Amsterdam-based startup developing emission-free logistics solutions for modern e-commerce, has raised €1.5 million, including EU funding, to support its European expansion.

Currently operating in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, the company plans to extend its services to additional cities across Europe.
Key rounds include Relay’s €33.4M Series A to modernise parcel delivery, HIVED’s €35.6M to expand its electric e-commerce delivery network, and Portugal’s Lyzer raising over €10M to scale its retail logistics platform.
In the out-of-home (OOH) delivery sector, London-based HubBox secured €6.8M for its OOH delivery software, while Bloq.it raised €28M Series B to expand locker infrastructure across Europe.

Funding has also targeted fleet, fulfilment, and operational platforms: Vok Bikes raised €5M for electric cargo bikes, Quivo €5.2M for fulfilment expansion, MyDello €3.1M for shipping logistics, and Qargo €28M Series B for its transport management system.
Founded in 2022 by Tim van Alphen, Ruurd Tjeerdema and Maurice Stam, Sparqle offers a sustainable delivery network connecting e-commerce brands with emission-free shipping.
Its proprietary software, rider app and fleet of e-cargo bikes and electric vehicles optimise routes for efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
