SUMMARY
- Amsterdam-based circular waste management platform Seenons has acquired Recycling Consultants Nederland (RCN) reinforcing its mission to create a waste-free world.
With backing from majority shareholder Fortino Capital Seenons is accelerating its European growth. The RCN acquisition strengthens its foothold in the Dutch market and paves the way for broader expansion across the region.
Recycling Consultants Nederland (RCN) is a Dutch waste advisory firm that has supported medium to large enterprises for nearly 20 years. Specializing in waste and material management, RCN provides independent advice, mediation, and guidance without affiliations to waste processors or collectors—an approach that aligns with Seenons’ values.

Founded in 2006 by Koes de Quillettes and later joined by his children Kirsten and Robbert, RCN has grown into a trusted family-run business. The entire RCN team will now join Seenons, ensuring service continuity.
This integration will bring together RCN’s deep market expertise with Seenons’ digital capabilities, enhancing circular waste solutions across the food, retail and logistics industries.
Kirsten de Quillettes says, “After 19 years of independently serving the market with our straightforward approach, expertise, and independent advice, we are now joining forces with Seenons to meet the market’s needs in the digital domain as well. This makes the RCN–Seenons combination complementary and strong.”
Seenons and RCN are renewing their partnership after previously working together on cross-border projects including a Dutch–Belgian initiative. This collaboration enables them to merge their expertise and better support clients across the Netherlands and Flanders.
The acquisition comes at a time of evolving waste management needs driven by digitalization and international demands. Businesses increasingly seek actionable insights and operational improvements—needs that the combined strengths of Seenons and RCN aim to meet.
By uniting consultancy with technology, Seenons takes another step toward its mission of building a waste-free future.
Joost Kamermans, CEO of Seenons, says, “We have always admired RCN’s results-driven approach. Their dedication to clients and deep knowledge of business waste aligns perfectly with our way of working. Together we can create even more impact, starting small and thinking big.”
Founded in 2019 by Joost Kamermans and Martin Kayser, Seenons is a circular waste platform that connects waste-producing organisations with logistics providers, processors, and reusers—ensuring materials stay in use instead of being discarded.
Through its software-driven approach, Seenons works to prevent, reduce, and reuse residual waste streams. The company currently operates across multiple European countries manages more than 150 waste streams, and partners with over 200 stakeholders in the value chain.
In 2025, Seenons formed a strategic partnership with Fortino Capital and expanded into Switzerland by acquiring CP Recycling Management. This followed its 2024 acquisition of Waste Group Denmark.
