SUMMARY

  • France-based fintech startup Aircap has raised €500,000 in fresh funding from business angels—including founders of top crowdfunding platforms—and Bpifrance.

Launched in 2024 by Grégoire Bloch-Escoffier, Adrien Ducreux, and Thomas Kientz, Aircap offers an open finance platform that helps investment professionals track financial flows and manage risk in the alternative finance space.

With deep experience in private debt, the founders have positioned Aircap as a trusted tech partner for real estate crowdfunding in France. In just one year, it has gained over 20 active clients, including major platforms like ClubFunding, Raizers, and La Première Brique.

Aircap now plans to expand across Europe, supporting a market that demands greater transparency, efficiency and advanced technology.

Grégoire Bloch-Escoffier, CEO of Aircap, commented: Following our entry into La Banque Postale’s incubator earlier this year, this fundraising marks a major milestone for Aircap. It validates our innovative approach and the relevance of our solution in addressing the challenges of transparency and risk management in private debt. We’re proud of the trust shown by our investors who share our vision for a more structured and efficient market.

With the EU crowdfunding regulation making the market more pan-European, Aircap aims to become a trusted partner for investment platforms across the continent.

Having gained valuable experience during the 2022 real estate market downturn in France, Aircap now wants to support European platforms in building a stronger, more stable, and sustainable crowdfunding sector.

Thomas Kientz, co-founder of Aircap, added: The involvement of experienced business angels — including founders of major crowdfunding platforms — highlights the unique value Aircap brings to the market. This round gives us the means to pursue our ambition of becoming the European reference in financial flow management within the private markets, while continuing to innovate for our clients.

With its first clients now onboard in the UK and Belgium, Aircap is showing it can tackle local market needs while supporting a unified European approach.

Adrien Ducreux, co-founder of Aircap, explained: We built Aircap on the conviction that data is the key to better managing private market investments. The funds raised will allow us to accelerate the development of our platform and expand our presence across Europe, delivering ever more powerful tools to a broader audience of professionals managing private investments.

The new funding will drive Aircap’s next phase of growth as the market shifts toward higher transparency, compliance, and performance standards.

It will also help the company expand across Europe and broaden its services to cover more private market segments, such as private equity and infrastructure.
