London-based Zepz, the company behind WorldRemit and Sendwave, has secured €152 million in funding to strengthen its finances and expand into new markets.

HSBC Innovation Banking led a €101.7 million revolving credit facility, while HSBC Private Credit underwrote a €50.8 million term loan.

These new facilities, led by HSBC, replace a previous €74 million agreement and continue Zepz’s decade-long partnership with HSBC Innovation Banking UK.

Zepz serves over 9 million users across 4,000 payment routes, operating in 40+ sending countries and 90 receiving countries, processing over 8 million transactions each month.

With this funding, Zepz will invest in faster transfers and better reliability for customers. Improved financial flexibility will also help lower transfer fees, making money transfers more affordable.
