Romanian company Youni has assisted over 6,000 students worldwide in locating and gaining admission to their dream universities. In addition to offering a 100% acceptance rate for applicants, the AI-powered global platform helps universities by enabling them to hire top talent and expedite the work of admissions staff.

With the help of the platform, institutions can better manage their admissions process, allocate scholarships more effectively, and focus resources on students who have the best chance of succeeding.

Andrei Nicolae, Founder and CEO of Youni explained: “When I was looking for a university, I didn’t really know which field of study was the most suitable for me. Additionally, at that time in Romania it was not possible to apply online to study at the university and all information was hidden on many different platforms, which was both time-consuming and mentally demanding for me. When I worked in education in Germany, I saw that local students also experienced similar difficulties, that’s why I decided to develop an intelligent platform that would offer a universal helping hand to all students.“

The Youni platform offers students all-inclusive support in one location, assisting with their professional and personal growth and, most importantly, getting them ready to enroll in esteemed international universities like LSE, Harvard University, and the University of Cambridge.

Every user generates an extensive profile including their accomplishments, aspirations, and academic standing. Artificial intelligence algorithms then suggest appropriate subjects of study and the universities that provide them based on this data.

Hynek Sochor, Founder and Managing Partner of Soulmates Ventures said: “Finding the right field of study and succeeding in entrance exams is often very difficult for students. They need comprehensive information, direction and support. We consider using scalable and modern digital technologies for this purpose to be an excellent idea that has the potential to simplify students’ paths towards their ideal career path.”

Students can engage certified tutors at Youni to help them get ready for exams like the International Baccalaureate (AA/AI), SAT, A Levels/GCSE, TOEFL, and IELTS, which are frequently needed for admissions. Users of the portal can also get assistance in applying to scholarships and universities. Simultaneously, students have the option to confer with education advisors, who offer insightful counsel and direction on their academic path.

Furthermore, Youni matches students with appropriate opportunities—including university scholarships—using AI to assist students in obtaining scholarships. Access to education is made possible by this strategy, particularly for underprivileged pupils. Youni has assisted in obtaining $52 million in scholarships thus far.

Youni intends to use the additional cash to improve its platform even more and enter the US, UK, and Australian markets. The firm wants to help one million students get into their dream university over the course of the following year.
