
Rome-based WSENSE, which builds underwater monitoring and wireless communication systems, has raised €7.2M in a pre-Series B round.
The round was led by new investor FINCANTIERI, with support from existing backers like CDP Venture Capital, SWEN Capital, RunwayFBU, Axon Partners, and Rypples.
WSENSE will use the funds to speed up the global rollout of its underwater wireless tech. This comes two years after the company raised €11M in Series A funding in 2023.
