Vladimir Kardapoltsev management philosophy: convenience and user capabilities above short-term profits
Mar 23, 2026 | By Team SR

The latest update of the PointPay platform, led by CEO Vladimir Kardapoltsev, has brought users a whole new facet of the ecosystem - the “Web3 Terminal”. The restrictions and limits of CEX, which had previously shackled users, were broken by new features and tools including: Spot/Preps and Futures trading, Predictions market and LaunchZone.
Despite the visual similarity to the main platform, the new Web3 Terminal is decentralized. Connecting third-party wallets, trading any tokens directly with other users, and many popular blockchains are all available as is.
But what was the purpose of the decision to develop such a thing? Behind the abundance of user capabilities, there are almost zero ways to monetize the final product, which is the Terminal for PointPay.
To find the answer, we will take a closer look at who is behind the key decisions of all PointPay - Vladimir Kardapoltsev. For many, he is a positive, always smiling man. Simple and approachable, despite his high position. But there is something more behind this image.
The first thing is education. Vladimir graduated from the prestigious University College London (BA Economics and Business) and solidified his expertise at the University of Plymouth, ending with an MBA Professional Practice.
His studies and practice were followed by work in world-class financial companies, such as Mirabaud Group and Family Office. For more than three years, Vladimir has been honing his skills among the best financial experts. This quickly builds character and lays strong groundwork.
Yet, the foundation alone is not enough for growth. True development requires the freedom to make decisions and be responsible for their results. This freedom came with SwapZilla - the first own project, where Vladimir Kardapoltsev took the post of COO. All the internal processes of the company and its further development fell on his shoulders for two whole years.
Finally, in May 2021, Vladimir left the project to find himself in a place where he could realize not only his experience, but also a unique vision for the company's growth - PointPay. The CEO position allowed him to lead the entire company, without exceptions and compromises.
Here, combined with knowledge, many years of experience and freedom, his own management style was born. Vladimir's unique philosophy, where a long-term strategy is intertwined with the user, put in the first place. Which is the answer to our question:
“If you're building something, it's important to look to the future. Not tomorrow, not the end of the year with its reports. Look 5 or even 10 years - to a place where hype, tricks and tricks dissipate, leaving behind only the essence and real value. So, while others are splashing in the waves of rising and falling popularity, you can create a solid foundation. And at its core are people. The ones you put first. Whose trust and loyalty you have earned over the years.” - Vladimir Kardapoltsev.
