Vivian Lab funding news - Munich-based Vivian Lab Secures First Round Funding

Women’s digital healthcare startup Vivian Lab has completed its first funding round. Led by an all-female founder team based in Munich, Athens, and London, the company is developing a program designed by scientists and doctors that supports women through menopause, sexual wellness, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum.

SUMMARY

  • Women’s digital healthcare startup Vivian Lab has completed its first funding round.
  • Vivian Lab's recruitment, retention, and engagement of female talent helps organizations create and sustain successful teams.

For far too long, women's health has received less attention. In addition, while menopause affects all women, there is insufficient support during this time. Because of this, individuals frequently have to quit the labor sooner, which costs businesses and insurance firms $150 billion.

Furthermore, because menopause is not given enough attention, doctors frequently misdiagnose these symptoms, which raises insurance company expenses and keeps women from getting complete care.

Menopause is the subject of Vivian Lab's first major digital program. The platform makes menopausal management approachable and powerful by combining educational materials, telemedicine consultations, customized treatment regimens, community support, and AI helpers.

Women may better understand and prepare for the shift with Vivian Lab's comprehensive help in all areas, including exercise, mental health, weight management, and sexual health. The team is dedicated to making sure that every woman has access to the treatment she deserves. This program is one of the few in Europe that aims to change the way women obtain healthcare.

Large enterprise clients of the business currently include hospitals, banks, pharmaceutical companies, and multinationals like Bayer, among others.

Within six months of Vivian Lab's founding, a funding round headed by Eleven Ventures was completed, demonstrating the high trust of investors in the company's strategy and vision for women's healthcare.

Gina Tiriakidou, Founder and CEO of Vivian Lab said, "We are deeply grateful for the support from Eleven Ventures, who share our commitment to bringing fundamental changes to women’s healthcare, This funding is a crucial step in our journey to expand our offerings and reach more women who need support. More importantly, Eleven is a strategic partner on this journey, with a highly successful track record in healthcare investments, so we can greatly benefit from their guidance and experience. We couldn’t be more proud and grateful to belong to the Eleven community."

Valeri Petrov, Partner at Eleven Ventures: "As an active investor in healthcare, we have been closely monitoring the femtech space and are deeply aware of the significant gaps in female health support and treatment options. We are proud to support this outstanding female-led team and partner with Vivian Lab in their mission to make healthcare more accessible and personalized for women at every stage of life."

The money will go into expanding the program's functionality, boosting user satisfaction, and breaking into new markets including Germany and the DACH area.
