SUMMARY
- UBEES, a company focused on beekeeping solutions for regenerative agriculture, has raised €8 million in a Series A round, co-led by European funds Starquest and Capagro, with participation from Newtree Impact.
The funding will help the company further integrate pollination into agricultural practices and value chains.
Although pollination is critical for many food crops it is often overlooked in agronomic planning and operational decisions. UBEES aims to fill this gap by creating structured pollination programs that support both farmers and brands integrating pollination directly into their production systems for greater efficiency and sustainability.
According to CEO Louis Delelis-Fanien, the funding represents an important milestone for the company and reflects its progress in positioning pollination as a scalable and economically viable component of agricultural systems with the potential to support more resilient and productive farming practices.

Data on productivity, crop quality, biodiversity, and carbon footprint informs recommendations to optimise farming practices and assess ecosystem health. Operating in over 15 countries across five continents UBEES supports clients from programme design to on-the-ground implementation in sectors including agri-food, cosmetics, and energy, improving productivity, preserving biodiversity and enhancing smallholder farmer incomes.
With the new funding, UBEES plans to expand operations in Latin America and Africa, key regions for crops like coffee, berries, avocados and cocoa, while continuing to strengthen its presence in Europe and the United States.
The company will enhance its connected beehive technologies to improve pollinator monitoring, data quality, and impact measurement across agronomic, environmental, and economic dimensions.
Additionally, UBEES aims to create an international network of trained and supported farmers, generating extra income through beekeeping and providing better access to agronomic insights.
