SUMMARY

  • Click Labs Inc., a U.S.-based SaaS leader in logistics and on-demand delivery software has acquired Evermile, a London-based AI retail operations platform for SME retailers.

The move enhances Click Labs’ retail tech presence, adding advanced AI and automation solutions to better serve small and mid-sized retailers globally.

Omer Goldschmidt, Co-founder and CEO of Evermile, said: “We built Evermile to close the technology gap for independent retailers. Our mission has always been to help small teams compete at the highest level, without needing complex, expensive tools or large teams. By joining Click Labs, we can now take that mission global – across more markets, verticals and delivery models.”

Founded in 2022 by Omer Goldschmidt, Ynon Cohen, and Omry Hochberg, Evermile serves as a “virtual operations manager” for modern retail, automating manual workflows for SMEs. Its AI agents and proprietary orchestration engine manage order preparation, delivery assignments, SLA tracking, support, and personalised customer engagement — boosting efficiency, consistency, and satisfaction.

Since its 2023 launch, Evermile has processed hundreds of thousands of orders and supported daily operations for thousands of independent UK retailers. Partnering with brands like Ottolenghi, CakeBox, and Paul’s Bakery, it helps businesses across food, fashion, wine, pharmacy, and other retail sectors scale and thrive.

Samar Singla, CEO of Click Labs, said: “Evermile brings exceptional technology, deep operational expertise, and a platform that merchants love. Together, we’ll help retailers simplify operations, deliver seamless experiences, and grow smarter in a demanding market.”

As AI transforms ecommerce, SME retailers face mounting pressure to improve operations and customer experiences without the large teams, advanced tech, or budgets available to big brands.

This acquisition addresses that challenge by delivering enterprise-grade automation designed for smaller businesses, aiming to drive product innovation, streamline workflows, and enable more connected, personalised experiences at scale.

The deal also signals Click Labs’ entry into retail operations, offering an end-to-end platform covering the entire customer journey — from website checkout to doorstep delivery and post-purchase engagement.

Evermile will continue operating as a standalone brand in the short term, with its technology gradually integrated into Click Labs’ flagship products — JungleWorks, Tookan, Yelo, and Hippo and rolled out across key markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.

The move aligns with a broader wave of consolidation in logistics and retail tech driven by evolving retailer expectations. Recent examples include DoorDash acquiring SevenRooms, Uber investing in Trendyol and GlobalE buying ReturnGO all reflecting the rising demand for unified, streamlined platforms.
