The funding round was led by Goodwater Capital, with participation from Arcadia Gaming Partners—the new fund launched by Akın Babayiğit, co-founder of Tripledot Studios, one of Europe’s fastest-growing mobile gaming companies. Index Ventures and Play Ventures also joined the round.
Babayiğit, who has worked closely with the Bigger team since its earliest days, commented: Hakan and the Bigger team embody all the qualities that make the Turkish games ecosystem what it is today: Scary smart, super hungry, unwilling to settle or compromise, and incredibly creative and analytical. I have had the pleasure of being on this journey with Hakan from the beginning, and watching him evolve into the truly exceptional founder (and person) he is today. The sky is the limit for the whole team, and I can’t wait to see what they will achieve.
Ulvan added: It’s great that, with Arcadia, the entire ecosystem now has the opportunity to work with Akın, someone who brings real mentorship, genuine integrity, and unwavering support.
Kitchen Masters is already showing strong early performance, with retention and engagement metrics surpassing industry standards. The game blends dynamic gameplay with a strong sense of player empowerment—key pillars of the studio’s design approach.
Ulvan said that every swipe in Kitchen Masters is meant to feel impactful and satisfying, adding: We obsess over emotional momentum, the feeling of progress, mastery, and joy. This funding lets us take that philosophy to new platforms, new genres, and a much bigger audience.
As part of the funding round, Coddy Johnson, Partner at Goodwater Capital and former President of gaming giant Activision Blizzard, has joined Bigger Games’ Board of Directors.
With a growing team in Istanbul, support from global investors, and a product-first approach focused on emotional design, Bigger Games is positioning itself as a rising force in the future of mobile gaming.
