Turkey- Based Bigger Games Secures $25M Series A Funding To Redefine Fun In Mobile Gaming

The funding comes at a high point for Turkey’s booming gaming scene, which has seen growing global interest and investment. Bigger Games aims to stand out by focusing not just on mechanics, but on the emotional experience of fun.

The funding round was led by Goodwater Capital, with participation from Arcadia Gaming Partners—the new fund launched by Akın Babayiğit, co-founder of Tripledot Studios, one of Europe’s fastest-growing mobile gaming companies. Index Ventures and Play Ventures also joined the round.

Babayiğit, who has worked closely with the Bigger team since its earliest days, commented: Hakan and the Bigger team embody all the qualities that make the Turkish games ecosystem what it is today: Scary smart, super hungry, unwilling to settle or compromise, and incredibly creative and analytical. Kitchen Masters is already showing strong early performance, with retention and engagement metrics surpassing industry standards. The game blends dynamic gameplay with a strong sense of player empowerment—key pillars of the studio’s design approach.

As part of the funding round, Coddy Johnson, Partner at Goodwater Capital and former President of gaming giant Activision Blizzard, has joined Bigger Games’ Board of Directors.
