Successful second-time founders Telson-Sillett and Webster built the hospitality booking platform DesignMyNight and led it to an eight-figure exit; Sadler, a sales specialist, joined the team to create trumpet to address issues they had encountered in the sales process after serving as sales lead at product insights platform Hotjar.

Prior investors Lightbird Ventures, Anamcara Capital, and Triple Point Ventures were among those that led the fundraising headed by AlbionVC. The money will allow trumpet to reach more people in the US.
