Tracksights funding news – Copenhagen-based Tracksights Secures €1 Million in Pre-Seed Funding
Feb 27, 2025 | By Kailee Rainse

Copenhagen-based startup Tracksights has raised €1 million in Pre-Seed funding from Maki Ventures to develop its AI-powered platform for the automotive industry.
The platform aims to modernize an industry still relying on clipboards and spreadsheets, facing issues like fragmented data, complexity, and inefficiency.
Wasteson comes from the automotive sector and worked for years at Porsche Denmark. He recounts: "My experience was in the premium division, handling brands like Porsche, Lamborghini, and Bentley, as well as financial leasing. I saw firsthand how manual and outdated the industry's workflows were, especially considering the high-value assets being dealt with. Mark and I realised we could bring a more intelligent, data-driven approach to this space, and that became the foundation of our business."

Tracksights has created a platform that gathers and simplifies data from the automotive market and individual vehicles, providing instant, useful insights all in one place. This gives users a complete view of the global market.
Lunding Pedersen shared:"Within the first two weeks, we onboarded nine customers, validating our business model."
TrackSights can be used for things like valuing individual vehicles, assessing large fleets, financial reporting, tax leasing calculations, and predicting the future value of vehicles.
The platform is being rolled out to early users now, with an official launch planned for March 2025.
The first version focuses on vehicle valuation, using both real-time and past data. In the future, the company plans to add features that predict the impact of different scenarios, like tariffs or policy changes.
The new investment will help TrackSights expand, starting in the Nordic countries, then moving into Germany and other parts of Europe.
