TestDevLab Acquired By US-based Xoriant To Support Global Expansion

The acquisition brings together TestDevLab’s 14 years of expertise in software testing with Xoriant’s extensive engineering capabilities and global footprint, which spans 28 offices across the USA, Europe, and Asia.

European activity in software testing and adjacent quality-assurance fields in 2025 remains strong, with UK-based Synthesized raising over €17 million to grow its AI-native test-infrastructure and test-data platform, and Germany’s CERPRO securing €2 million to advance AI-driven industrial QA workflows.

Although these companies are outside Latvia and the broader Baltic region, they reflect a wider trend of sustained investment in testing, verification, and AI-enhanced QA technologies.

In this context, TestDevLab’s acquisition by Xoriant represents a consolidation-focused development rather than new funding aligning the Latvian firm with a broader movement in which established QA specialists are being integrated into larger engineering groups seeking deeper expertise in automation, model validation and safety-critical testing.
