Ukrainian defence tech startup Teletactica has raised $1.5 million to develop jamming-resistant communication systems for use in high-risk, contested environments.

SUMMARY

  • Ukrainian defence tech startup Teletactica has raised $1.5 million to develop jamming-resistant communication systems for use in high-risk, contested environments.

The company builds rugged, secure, and easily deployable communication gear that works even in GPS-denied or low-infrastructure zones, enabling encrypted voice and data sharing for defence and allied forces.

Designed for drones (UAVs), ground vehicles (UGVs), and other compact platforms, Teletactica’s hardware is lightweight, power-efficient, and ready for mass deployment—keeping costs low while delivering battlefield-ready performance.

“We deliver battlefield-proven solutions where conventional systems fail”, said Eugene Zhebko, co-founder and CEO of Teletactica.

All of Teletactica’s devices are designed for low-latency data transmission and deliver 5x better price-to-performance than similar radios made in the EU or US. Even under intense jamming, their systems keep packet loss between just 1% to 5%, ensuring reliable communication.

Teletactica’s hardare is already in use across Ukraine and is being adapted to NATO standards. “This is not theoretical tech; it’s saving equipment and people right now,” said Zhebko.

The round was led by MITS Capital, an investment group based in Kyiv and New York that focuses on Ukrainian defence innovation. Green Flag Ventures, a US and Ukraine-based VC firm, also participated.

Teletactica is a graduate of the MITS Acceleration Program and had earlier raised a pre-seed round successfully.

“MITS Capital’s relationship with Teletactica is strategic, and the company has passed all the steps of our process to date, which began with the Acceleration Program. We’ve watched the company exceed every technical and operational milestone since,” said Perry Boyle, CEO and founding Partner at MITS Capital.

“We are proud to continue supporting Teletactica’s growth as they help define the future of battlefield communications.”

“Teletactica exemplifies the kind of company we look for: strong team, powerful product, and the potential to dominate a large and critical market segment. The core team pivoted from the private sector and had the experience, skill, and knowledge to identify the frontline EW challenges and respond with unique, flexible, problem-solving solutions that are now being used by multiple units in Ukraine,” said Justin Zeefe, General Partner at Green Flag Ventures.

Teletactica is a key member of Brave1, a government-backed Ukrainian platform that fosters collaboration across the defence tech ecosystem.

The new funding will help the company scale its next-gen tactical communication systems for frontline use and support its expansion into European markets.
