TeiaCare Raises €7M To Boost Growth And Expand Internationally

Founded in 2018 by Guido Magrin and Luca Iozzia, TeiaCare develops monitoring solutions for residential care settings such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centres, and dementia care facilities.

Its platform, Ancelia, uses optical sensors and artificial intelligence to analyse care environments and deliver actionable insights, helping staff improve decision-making, prevent risks, and optimise daily operations.

Guido Magrin noted that as structural challenges in residential healthcare become more evident, technology is shifting from optional to essential.

Today, we have a unique opportunity to help define a new category of care solutions: practical tools that support care professionals, improve the quality of life for vulnerable individuals, and structurally address one of the major challenges of our time - population aging.

The company serves more than 150 clients across over 200 facilities supporting around 75,000 residents. It operates in a sector under increasing pressure due to rising demand for long-term and home care services, as well as ongoing workforce shortages.

TeiaCare plans to use the new funding to scale its business model, expand into new markets, and enhance its Data, Spatial, and Care Intelligence capabilities.

The company also aims to extend its solutions beyond residential care into broader healthcare and home care environments, beginning its international expansion with a focus on France and Spain.
