SUMMARY

  • Luxembourg-based Tadaweb has raised €17.3 million to grow its Small Data Operating System, which focuses on publicly available information (PAI) and open-source intelligence (OSINT). The funding will support product development and help attract top talent.

The round was co-led by Arsenal Growth and Forgepoint Capital International, with continued backing from existing investor Wendel. As part of the deal, Jason Rottenberg (Arsenal Growth) and Damien Henault (Forgepoint Capital International) will join Tadaweb’s board.

Francois Gaspard, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Tadaweb, said: “Our mission is to make the world safer by empowering the human mind with the right information at the right time. Almost everyone is looking to AI for a solution. Our focus is on transparency, not delivering another black box. We embrace AI, while ensuring our solution keeps the human in control. True impact comes from putting humans in the centre. By augmenting analysts with our Small Data Operating System, we’re doing just that.”

The platform blends advanced technology with human intuition and expertise, emphasizing transparency and ethics in how organisations navigate and use digital information.

Tadaweb’s SaaS platform is trusted by defence, national security, public safety, cyber threat intelligence, and corporate security teams across Europe and the U.S. to enhance the productivity of their analysts and investigators.

Jason Rottenberg, Co-founder and General Partner at Arsenal Growth, said: “Tadaweb has built a genuinely human-centric Operating System that is solely focused on making analysts dramatically more productive. The company is uniquely positioned to accelerate its customers’ ability to harness the vast opportunities of OSINT, irrespective of their sector focus, with an ambitious team that is building an extraordinary company.”

Publicly Available Information (PAI) includes content found in open sources like news articles, websites, social media, public records, blogs, forums, images, and videos.

Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) is the process of collecting, analysing, and using this data to support informed decision-making. In fact, OSINT makes up an estimated 80–90% of the information gathering done by law enforcement and government agencies.

Quickly analysing PAI gives public and private sector organisations a competitive edge in markets affected by political or economic instability. However, with the sheer volume of data available, even well-resourced teams can struggle to identify the most valuable insights fast enough.

Tadaweb addresses this challenge by focusing on Small Data—data that a human can reasonably process. Its AI-powered Operating System supports analysts by combining only the most precise data points needed to reach accurate conclusions. The platform integrates with third-party tools and APIs, drawing from PAI, commercial data, and new emerging sources.

As a result, users can act on critical priorities more effectively—whether it’s preventing fraud, identifying threats, reducing supply chain risks, or avoiding financial losses.

Damien Henault, Managing Director at Forgepoint Capital International, said: “Many players claim to help organisations with OSINT, but they offer a set of features, not a fully integrated end-to-end platform. Three things attracted us to Tadaweb and how its Operating System helps analysts be more productive: its Small Data approach combined with a unique low/no-code visual query engine, the way it prioritises the human analyst, not the data, and its hyper-focused management team committed to delivering value for its customers.”

With this latest round, Tadaweb’s total funding now stands at €34.7 million. This includes €15.6 million from Wendel in 2023 and €1.7 million from angel investors back in 2015.
