Flybotix notes that confined space inspections remain highly hazardous, with injuries and fatalities occurring annually. The ASIO X drone minimizes the need for workers to enter critical sites like water facilities, power plants and oil & gas assets, greatly enhancing safety.
It also allows more frequent, precise inspections, helping operators detect issues early and prevent costly downtime or major failures such as sinkholes.
Since its founding, Flybotix has achieved major milestones, including the 2024 launch of the ASIO X, its second-generation drone solution that integrates the company’s proprietary SaaS platform.
The company has expanded its distributor network to over 30 countries and formed partnerships with municipalities and major organizations. The new funding will support scaling commercialization, speeding up product development, and growing the team to meet rising demand for safer, more efficient indoor inspections.
