Starhive Funding News- Starhive Secures $5Mn Pre-Series A Funding For AI-Driven IT Asset Management
Apr 8, 2025 | By Startuprise

Swedish startup Starhive, which helps businesses manage their IT assets and services, has raised $5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Ventech, with support from existing investor node.vc.
SUMMARY
- Starhive uses AI and predictive analytics to help IT teams manage resources better, cut costs, and work more efficiently.
This funding comes just seven months after Starhive’s $3 million seed round in September 2024.
Starhive uses AI and predictive analytics to help IT teams manage resources better, cut costs, and work more efficiently. Its no-code platform lets companies easily tailor their IT processes without needing developers.
Unlike other tools that focus AI only on service management, Starhive uses AI for asset management too — helping IT teams make smarter decisions faster. Instead of digging through data, teams can ask the AI for suggestions, like setting up alerts for expiring warranties or other important updates.

This shifts IT operations from reactive to proactive, improving planning and cutting waste.
Starhive CEO and founder Tommy Nordhal said: "IT teams often rely on manual processes or rigid off-the-shelf software that fails to adapt to their specific needs, leading to inefficiencies and unnecessary costs. By integrating AI into asset and service management, Starhive provides a seamless, intelligent solution that combines the simplicity of ready-made software with the adaptability of a custom-built system.”
Ventech VC’s Joel Uddén said, "Starhive is addressing a significant gap in the IT management space by bringing AI to asset management, an area that has remained largely manual and inefficient. The ability to predict asset needs, optimise allocation, and reduce costs through AI-driven insights gives Starhive a clear competitive advantage."
With businesses increasingly looking for smarter, more adaptable IT solutions, Starhive is well-positioned to scale rapidly in a market that is ripe for innovation. This investment is an opportunity to be part of the future of AI-driven enterprise efficiency.”
With this new funding, Starhive plans to add advanced AI features like conversational AI, so teams can interact with data in real-time. Ventech’s Joel Uddén will also join Starhive’s board.
