Spain Based MOVEMENTS Raises €300K Funding In Pre-seed Round

The round includes backing from business angels such as Miguel Vicente, Vincent Rosso, David Tomás, Marta Huidobro, and Ignacio Carnero, along with social entrepreneurs like Sergi Figueres and Diego Hidalgo.

Founded in 2025, MOVEMENTS is a Spanish platform designed to empower citizens, activists, and organisations by giving them tools to launch and scale impactful movements capabilities traditionally reserved for large institutions.

The platform has already supported several high-impact initiatives. One example is Sanidad Pública Segura which gathered over 100,000 signatures in just five weeks and reached Spain’s Congress, bringing patient safety into national debate. Other movements include Generation Zero Nukes led by Nobel laureate Carlos Umaña and Signs that Change the World, promoting sign language accessibility.

Following its initial funding milestone MOVEMENTS is entering a growth phase focused on product development and scaling. The company plans to launch its MVP with a subscription model to help movements generate recurring revenue and ensure long term sustainability.

Looking ahead, MOVEMENTS is preparing for a Seed round in June 2026, aiming to develop agent-based AI tools to optimise movement creation and expand internationally, particularly into the US market.
