SkyVisor funding news - Paris-based SkyVisor has Raised €1.2Million in Funding

SkyVisor, a startup from Paris that specializes in AI-driven drone technology for inspecting and managing wind and solar energy assets, has raised €1.2M in funding. The round was led by Tomcat, with additional investments from BPIfrance, Région Île-de-France, and other key investors.

Funding Utilisation

The funding will help SkyVisor expand internationally and further develop its products, strengthening its position in the renewable energy sector.

It is using AI-powered drones to make inspections of wind and solar parks easier and more accurate. They inspect over 10 GW of wind and solar assets each year, combining automatic drone flights with AI to detect defects.

Their technology helps renewable energy companies find over 200,000 defects annually across 8,000 inspections, improving preventive maintenance.

With the new funding, it plans to expand its services into more markets in Europe and North America.

Paul Fontaine, CEO of SkyVisor said, “We’re thrilled to expand our service offering to new countries. With this funding, we can continue to push the boundaries of in-house renewable energy inspections, bringing our solutions to new regions and enhancing our platform and AI-tools to meet the evolving needs of the industry.”

SkyVisor has added Claire Audin and Elie du Pré de Saint Maur as advisors. Their experience in renewable energy, B2B SaaS, and global marketing will help SkyVisor grow internationally.

Audin has over 13 years of experience in infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory strategy. Elie, co-founder of Tomcat, has held leadership roles, including CMO at Doctolib and CMO & Strategy Officer at Edenred Group.
