sci2sci Secures €1.2 Mn to Improve Data and AI Verification

The funding round was co-led by Heliad and IBB Ventures. Robin Capital and Superangels also joined the round as investors.

Valerii Kremnev, co-founder and CTO of sci2sci, explained that the company's approach is designed to build verification and traceability into AI workflows: "Instead of shipping capabilities first and patching trust and security afterward, we built Parseltongue and Integrity Cortex to permit only safe outputs. A model’s lockpicking skills are useless when there’s no door — and our software guarantees there is none. The same holds for deception: our systems don’t have ungrounded statements as a primitive. The model is forced to produce evidence for every claim it makes."

sci2sci was founded by Angelina Lesnikova and Valerii Kremnev. The company is building software that helps businesses bring scattered information together and check whether data and AI-generated results are supported by reliable evidence.

The company first focused on the biopharma industry, where important research and regulatory information is often stored in PDFs, spreadsheets, lab notes and different software systems. Having information in many places can make it difficult to find and verify the original sources.

This problem can become even bigger when companies use AI tools, especially when the available data is incomplete or inconsistent. sci2sci's Integrity Cortex helps solve this by bringing documents, data and AI outputs into one structured system.

Integrity Cortex connects claims to their original sources and checks citations and conclusions. It also creates an auditable record designed to meet 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for electronic records. The system is built on Parseltongue, a framework that sci2sci open-sourced under the Apache 2.0 licence.
