The funding will help it expand across Germany and speed up the launch of its battery storage projects. Angel investors included Dr. Christine Prauschke, Henning Gebhardt, and Thomas Rüschen.

The company is working to speed up Europe’s shift to clean energy by turning unused industrial grid connections into energy storage hubs. Scale Energy offers fully funded battery storage solutions, helping businesses save on energy costs, stabilize their operations, and support decarbonization—all without needing an upfront investment.

It handles everything from acquisition to installation, maintenance, and regulatory approvals. By building a decentralized battery storage network, they aim to help integrate more renewable energy, strengthen the grid, and encourage sustainable growth.
