Ramp Acquires Payments Platform Billhop To Expand Access For UK and European Customers

This move expands Ramp’s regional expertise and enhances support for customers operating across the UK and Europe. As part of the acquisition, Ramp will open its first international offices in London and Stockholm.

Nearly half of Ramp’s customers conduct transactions in over 180 countries each week. Ramp already supports these global operations with local currency payments and cards in countries including Canada, Australia, Japan, Mexico and Singapore. By integrating Billhop’s licensed platform and regional presence, Ramp strengthens its ability to serve businesses across the UK and EU.

Thousands of U.S. businesses already use Ramp to manage spending and payments across Europe. Starting this summer, Ramp will begin onboarding businesses headquartered in the UK and EU directly.

Over the coming months, Ramp will expand its European team across go-to-market, partnerships, and operations, with plans to more than double its UK staff within the next year.
