The acquisition follows BCN3D’s voluntary bankruptcy filing in May, prompted by a strategic realignment amid challenging market conditions and financial pressures.
Quantum, a newly established company backed by Sorigué, Banasegur (Sabseg Group), Terberfer, and Inversions Vall (owned by shareholders of Vall Companys), focuses on growing strategic industrial assets through long-term investment and operational management.

The acquisition of BCN3D has been legally approved and completed. Under Quantum, BCN3D will continue delivering 3D printing solutions for the light industrial market, with all assets—including its headquarters and production center in Lleida—remaining fully operational.
Quantum plans to build on BCN3D’s existing investments, infrastructure, and product portfolio, ensuring continuity across technologies and brands. The entire BCN3D team remains in place, continuing regular operations and providing consistent support to partners and customers.
BCN3D develops and manufactures 3D printing solutions, serving clients in over 60 countries, including Nissan, BMW, NASA, Camper, Louis Vuitton, and MIT.
Its product line features the Omega I60 for scaling from prototypes to production runs and the Epsilon Series for technical, one-off models. BCN3D’s printers support professionals across automotive, engineering, product design, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
