  • Czech Bandits a startup helping companies integrate AI into their existing workflows and boost operational efficiency has raised €400k to tackle the widespread challenges businesses face when adopting AI technologies. The investment comes from Czech venture capital firm Miton.

“There are more and more AI tools on the market, but most of them are impossible to integrate into established tools or existing company processes. Rewriting them to be AI first, while still allowing human control over results, is not easy – and companies need a partner to guide them through that process. Many companies have already failed here or are afraid of wasting money and time. So instead, they settle for simply paying for ChatGPT for their people,” explains Bandits co-founder Jiří Štěpánek.

In 2025, the European startup ecosystem has seen strong investment in AI-driven workflow and automation tools, with Bandits’ funding round joining a wave of similar activity.

Amsterdam-based Lleverge secured €3 million to enable no-code automation, while aizy raised €1.5 million in the Netherlands to build AI-powered marketing tools for SMEs.

In the UK, Magentic closed €4.6 million to scale its autonomous AI agents for enterprise and supply-chain automation, and Spain’s Omnia raised €3.5 million to expand its AI platform for brand engagement. Together, these companies represent roughly €13 million in new funding, underscoring the growing demand for AI solutions that streamline operations and support effective AI adoption.

Within this landscape, Bandits’ modular AI tools and hands-on support model position the company well as businesses accelerate their shift toward AI-enabled processes.

“We have ready-made modules that automate work people find exhausting. At the same time, we act as an implementation partner, which significantly increases the chances of success,” adds Štěpánek.

Founded in 2025 by Jiří Štěpánek, Kryštof Mitka and Miton, Bandits offers a dual approach to AI adoption: ready-made modules for various business tasks and the option to customise them for specific company needs. The startup acts as an implementation partner providing ongoing support to ensure successful deployment.

Despite the potential of AI to significantly improve business efficiency, Bandits explains that many companies fail to integrate it effectively. While the use of AI tools like ChatGPT is growing, most companies never move beyond basic implementations often treating AI like traditional software.

Bandits is tackling this issue head-on by offering ready-made AI modules that can be customised to fit any company’s needs, ensuring a smoother transition into AI-first operations.

One notable success story using Bandits technology is OKTAGON, Europe’s largest MMA organisation. OKTAGON uses Bandits’ AI-powered tools for video translation and captioning, a previously manual and time-consuming process. By automating this task, OKTAGON has reportedly saved up to 50% of time on video production while maintaining the quality fans expect.

They’re also expanding AI applications into partner reporting and internal knowledge systems, streamlining operations and enabling scaling across the OKTAGON ecosystem.

“Bandits are stepping into the cage with OKTAGON to build AI-first systems directly integrated into our operations,” says Oktagon’s Sales Project Manager Oliver Mead. “The goal is clear – to multiply internal capacity and deliver the best possible experience to fans and partners alike. Partner reporting is a crucial, often overlooked part of the advertising game, and with Bandits we’re building a complex environment that brings new value to our partners.”

Miton backed Bandits early, investing €400k even before the startup officially launched. Miton partner and serial entrepreneur Tomáš Hodboď highlights the expanding role of AI in business operations and believes Bandits is well-positioned to help SMEs boost efficiency and integrate AI more effectively.

“With the rise of large language models, significant value will be created by expanding profit margins of established companies that are ready to adopt new technologies early,” said Tomáš Hodboď. “The SME segment will benefit from the efficiency that AI-first approaches in sales, marketing, generative, and back-office processes bring, enabling repetitive tasks to be replaced by higher-value activities.”

Bandits’ approach reflects a broader trend in which startups not only build AI agents but also take charge of implementing them directly within companies. This hands-on model significantly increases the chances of successful AI adoption, outperforming many internal efforts that struggle to deliver meaningful results.

Kryštof Mitka, co-founder of Bandits, explains: “Thanks to AI, companies can be efficient – if they manage to deploy the tools into production. According to a recent MIT study, only 5% succeed. The same study shows that implementation with the help of an external partner is significantly more successful than internal attempts. It makes sense, because AI really needs to be approached differently than traditional software.

“At Bandits, we can integrate AI even into established systems with complex process flows, and we can handle more than in-house automation in n8n or Make. Our own AI modules are regularly updated and delivered as a monthly subscription with full support.”

As Bandits grows, it will continue helping businesses automate routine tasks so teams can focus on higher-value work all while ensuring that humans remain in control of AI-driven processes.
