Poland’s FlyFocus Raises €4.5M To Scale European-Made Drone Production

FlyFocus, a Warsaw-based defence technology company, has secured €4.5 million in funding. The round was led by ffVC, with participation from the NCBR Investment Fund, the VC arm of Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development.

The company will use the capital to expand a new dedicated manufacturing facility in Poland, expected to become operational in the second half of 2026.
Funds will also support increased international sales efforts and ongoing R&D, including the launch of two new UAV platforms later this year.
Led by CEO Igor Skawiński, FlyFocus specialises in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), avionics, and customised UAV subsystems for military and dual-use applications.

The company designs and manufactures complete UAV platforms high end avionics and ground control software entirely in-house focusing on modularity technological sovereignty and resilience in rapidly evolving battlefield environments.
Founded in 2017 by engineers with backgrounds in aerospace and competitive aeromodelling, including Igor Skawiński and Albert Świerczyński, FlyFocus employs 35 people.
It sources all components exclusively from NATO-aligned suppliers and maintains a strict non-Chinese component policy across its entire product portfolio.
Igor Skawiński, CEO and co-founder of FlyFocus, said: “Without secure and transparent defence supply chains, there is no real military security. Europe needs industrial capabilities it can rely on in the long term. This investment allows us to scale production in Poland and deliver systems that are designed built and supported within Europe while remaining flexible enough to adapt to rapidly evolving operational requirements.”
