PlaySafe ID is built with privacy in mind. It gives users a verified and anonymous digital ID that works across all games. This ID confirms that the player is real and hasn’t cheated or acted inappropriately toward children.

PlaySafe ID uses a secure identity system that helps developers and gaming communities ensure fair play across different games—while still protecting player privacy and keeping games open and creative.

The funding round was led by Early Game Ventures, with additional support from Hartmann Capital and Overwolf.

Felix Hartmann, Managing Partner at Hartmann Capital, said that while gaming has huge social and economic value, it still lacks proper rules and oversight.
