Vilnius-based Pixevia has Secured €340k in a Bridge Round Extension Funding

Pixevia, a startup focused on AI-based retail technologies, has raised €340k to help grow its business globally.

The funding was led by Coinvest Capital, which invested €170k, with the rest coming from other investors, including business angels Vladas Lašas, Renaldas Zioma, Rita Sakus, and Vytenis Benetis.

Founded in 2011, It is known for its autonomous retail technology, including Europe's first AI-powered store, launched in 2020. The company also created Retail Core, a system that improves store efficiency and security using regular video cameras.

Retail Core provides valuable insights into customer behavior, product availability, pricing, advertising, and overall store performance.

Mindaugas Eglinskas, Founder and CEO of Pixevia said, “This funding allows us to allocate more resources to specific countries and accelerate deployments, reaffirming our dedication to revolutionising retail with AI-powered technologies,”.

This €340k funding round comes after Pixevia raised €1.5 million in May 2024 to expand in Europe and the US, focusing on launching autonomous stores.

With this new funding, it plans to expand into Taiwan, Belgium, Italy, and Poland, while strengthening its presence in the APAC region, Europe, and the US. These markets are important as demand for retail automation grows.

Coinvest Capital, a major investor in this round, is a venture capital fund backed by Lithuania's national development bank ILTE, using both public and private funds.

Building on its previous €1.5 million funding, it aims to continue transforming the retail industry with its AI technologies.
