Pillar Raises €3.2Million Funding In Pre-seed Round

The investment was led by Emblem with participation from global backers Pareto, Plug and Play, and Kima Ventures, alongside Italian investors B Heroes, Vento, Eden Ventures, and IAG.

The round also saw participation from notable entrepreneurs, including the founders of Aria, Convelio, Mobile First Company, 1000farmacie, Sibill, Futura, and Lexroom, as well as prominent business angels like Paola Bonomo, Ignazio Rocco Da Torrepadula, and Enrico Pandian.

Founded by entrepreneurs Gabriel Guinea Montalvo, Paolo Tarsia Incuria, and Lorenzo Demaio, Pillar aims to modernize Italy’s construction finance sector, which still relies on outdated processes. Construction accounted for 11.4% of Italy’s GDP in 2023, yet tech adoption remains low. The founders created fintech software specifically designed to simplify builders’ financial workflows.

Pillar provides construction companies with a clear, real-time overview of finances, monitoring revenues, expenses, and margins at both company and project levels. Built for simplicity, the AI-driven platform automates controls, reconciles bank transactions, and flags issues early.

Its standout feature is integrating diverse data sources while capturing on-site information like delivery notes, work hours, completed tasks, and progress reports automatically.

Since its launch, Pillar has attracted over 100 clients, managed 350+ projects, tracked 500+ workers, and processed more than 40,000 invoices. The new funding will help accelerate product development, boost go-to-market initiatives, and grow the team to support the company’s scaling plans.
