Offset Labs, a startup using AI for defence and security, has raised €600K in pre-seed funding to advance NATO-allied defence technologies, sources told EU-Startups.

The round was led by Archangel, Europe’s first dedicated defence investment platform, with support from Amadeus Capital Partners and Seven Capital.
"AI represents the next opportunity for a qualitative offset in defence, offering the free world a chance to solidify its technological advantage. The challenge is that AI’s nature demands unified scaling across data, talent and infrastructure.
"That’s why Offset Labs exists – to bring everything from data curation to research under one roof and unlock deep AI innovation for defence customers, ensuring Western leadership in this critical domain," shared Borys Nadykto, CEO and Co-founder at Offset Labs.

Founded in 2024 by engineers Denys Budnyk, Borys Nadykto, and Andrii Yakovyna, Offset Labs operates between London and Kyiv with a mission to build "decisive AI advantage through technological superiority for NATO Allies." The team has developed and deployed AI models for signal and voice processing in real-world operations.
