Nscale, the UK-based AI data center startup, has secured $433 million in funding just days after closing a $1.1 billion round, underscoring the continuing surge in AI infrastructure investment.

Positioning itself as a “hyperscaler engineered for AI,” Nscale has been recognized as a key AI infrastructure partner for OpenAI, Microsoft and Nvidia, which recently announced major investments in the UK AI ecosystem.

The latest $433 million round, structured as a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity), includes participation from Nvidia, Nokia, Dell, Blue Owl, and other existing and new investors.

The funding will support Nscale’s rapid growth and expansion in AI-focused data infrastructure, less than two years after its founding.

Nscale has now raised over $1.7 billion in total. The startup supplies AI infrastructure for OpenAI’s data centers, including Stargate Norway and its UK counterpart, Stargate UK.
