Nscale Raises $2 Billion Funding In Series C Round

The funding round included participation from major investors such as Astra Capital Management, Citadel, Dell, Jane Street, Lenovo, Linden Advisors, Nokia, NVIDIA, and Point72.

As part of the Series C milestone, Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker, and Nick Clegg will join Nscale’s Board of Directors, joining existing members Josh Payne, Rael Nurick, Jacob Leschly, and Øyvind Eriksen.

The company plans to use the funding to accelerate the global development of vertically integrated AI infrastructure spanning GPU compute, networking, data services, and orchestration software across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Founded by CEO Josh Payne, Nscale focuses on modular, first-principles data center design and end-to-end AI infrastructure solutions, empowering AI development from physical data centers to developer-facing software.

Additionally, Nscale has reached an agreement to fully integrate the Aker Nscale joint venture, originally announced in July 2025 into the company.
