In the field of rehabilitation and neuromuscular disorder treatment muscle diagnostics and activation are typically limited to intermittent clinical sessions. This often leaves patients without continuous monitoring or adaptive therapy during their daily lives.
Noxon aims to bridge this gap with its medical Muscle-Computer Interface a wearable system that combines continuous muscle diagnostics with neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), designed for everyday use.

At the heart of the technology is a closed feedback loop, enabling real-time measurement and personalized activation of muscles and nerves throughout therapy. The system can be integrated into familiar formats such as tapes, patches, and orthopedic aids.
The company is also collaborating with medical partners, including University Hospital Würzburg and the N-Squared Lab neuroscience group, to explore additional pilot applications. These efforts focus on supporting muscle control when brain-to-muscle signal transmission is impaired, including strategies to reduce tremors in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
With the new funding, Noxon plans to advance clinical validation of its platform and support the launch of its first products, with the goal of making muscle health more transparent, personalized, and accessible.
Around 30% of people worldwide face muscle health challenges. At Noxon, they address this with a non-invasive Muscle-Computer Interface that continuously monitors and manages muscle activity in real-life settings.
Their technology enhances movement assistance, boosts performance and supports the treatment of muscle-related conditions, making muscle health more accessible and personalized.
