SUMMARY
- London-based music technology startup Mozart AI has raised $6 million in seed funding led by Balderton Capital, supporting the upcoming launch of its mobile app.
The company positions itself as a platform transforming music creation through AI-powered tools offering a Generative Audio Workstation (GAW) designed for both hobbyist musicians and professional producers.
The oversubscribed round brings Mozart AI’s total funding to over $7 million, following a $1.1 million pre-seed round led by EWOR in July.
Mozart AI is reimagining the traditional Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for a new generation focused on creating and sharing music online. Its Generative Audio Workstation enables both AI-assisted, ground-up music production and prompt-based, agent-driven composition.

The platform offers context-aware stem generation, real-time suggestions for MIDI progressions and drum patterns, as well as synth and effects creation. It also allows users to remix sounds into new styles while automatically handling processes such as quantisation and time stretching. Artists retain full copyright ownership and can produce music videos ready for social media distribution.
AI is impacting every industry, and music is no different. The companies that win will be those that work with and for musicians, not against them. That’s why we’re so excited about Mozart AI, whose exceptional founding team includes musicians, technologists, and serial entrepreneurs, with deep roots in the industry.
Instead of being stunted by clunky and inaccessible legacy software, Mozart AI enables musicians and music enthusiasts to spend more time on the actual creative process, experimenting and iterating on their ideas with ease and speed. This team is building with exceptional focus and we’re excited to invest in the next generation of music technology. Daniel Waterhouse, Partner at Balderton Capital
Since launching its beta in September, Mozart AI has attracted more than 100,000 artists within two months, with over one million songs created on the platform. The technology is already being used by producers who have worked with artists such as A$AP Rocky, Avicii, and Kodak Black, with some tracks released on Spotify surpassing 10 million streams.
Founded in 2025 and headquartered in London, Mozart AI operates under Arthos. CEO and co-founder Sundar Arvind was signed to Spinnin’ Records at the age of 14 and previously co-founded AI delivery startup Blitzo alongside Arjun Khanna. Co-founder Pascual Merita Torres is a producer, DJ, classically trained pianist, and AI researcher.
Sundar Arvind, CEO and co-founder of Mozart AI, said: “The creative process has always been integral to music-making and to music’s role in shaping global culture. Far from replacing creativity, AI is leveling up that adrenaline-filled process through which musicians compose and discover the right sounds.”
