MobilityPlus funding news -Ghent-based MobilityPlus Secures €40Million in Funding

MobilityPlus, based in Ghent, has raised €40 million to grow its electric vehicle (EV) charging services in Europe. The funding comes from Suma Capital’s Climate Impact Fund III, which supports projects aimed at energy transition. Existing investor Concentra has also increased its investment.

Suma Capital: A Key Partner

Suma Capital, established in 2007, is an independent asset manager that focuses on green investments. The firm promotes sustainability through three main programs: Venture Capital, Growth Capital, and Sustainable Infrastructures.

Their investment in MobilityPlus comes from the SC Climate Impact Fund III, which supports projects that help transition to a low-carbon economy. This fund is backed by the European Union through the InvestEU fund.

Suma’s funding will enable MobilityPlus to expand its charging services for businesses and electric vehicle (EV) fleets.

Expansion in France

It's aims to set new standards in electric vehicle (EV) charging. The company plans to grow in Belgium and expand its operations in France, focusing on businesses and real estate clients to offer complete charging solutions.
