Midas, an Istanbul-based investment platform, secured $80M in Series B funding to enhance its services, expand market reach, and strengthen its position as a leading fintech player in Turkey.

The round was led by QED Investors, with new participation from IFC, HSG (formerly Sequoia China), QuantumLight (founded by Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky), Spice Expeditions LP, and George Rzepecki.

Existing investors Spark Capital, Portage Ventures, Bek Ventures, and Nigel Morris also joined. The company will use the funds to scale operations and advance development efforts.

Egem Eraslan, CEO of Midas, said: “From day one, our mission has been to make investing accessible, affordable, and seamless for everyone. Led by CEO Egem Eraslan, Midas offers a unified platform for investing in Turkish and U.S. equities, mutual funds, and cryptocurrencies. Since launch, it has grown to over 3.5M investors.

Midas charges a flat $1.50 per trade on U.S. exchanges and removes all fees for Borsa Istanbul, including commissions and custody costs. It also offers free real-time market data. With this round, total funding surpassed $140M.
