The round, led by Keiretsu Forum, Finest Love VC and Plug and Play, will support the development of AI infrastructure for culturally aware therapy services.
Combining angel investment with non-dilutive grants, this funding marks the first Albanian-Finnish startup investment for all three investors underscoring growing interest in cross-border innovation in digital mental health.
Many mental health platforms and AI therapy tools are built for monolingual culturally uniform markets despite over 800 million people living outside their country of origin where language and cultural context are crucial for effective therapy.

In an increasingly competitive mental health tech landscape, Bliss focuses on culturally specialised, clinician-supervised solutions rather than general-purpose AI. The platform combines licensed therapists from 10+ countries with AI driven cultural and linguistic matching connecting users with professionals who understand their language and cultural background while using AI to support not replace human care.
Bliss is also developing therapist-trained digital companions AI systems designed to mirror a therapist’s style, tone and approach, extending the reach of human-led care. Unlike many AI therapy tools that rely mainly on large language models, Bliss emphasizes clinician-guided, culturally aware AI support.
With the new funding, the company plans to launch its first therapist-trained AI companions, expand into additional diaspora markets including the United States, scale partnerships with multinational employers and strengthen its AI governance and clinical oversight frameworks.
Bliss founder Jona Doda said the company is focusing on the cultural dimension of therapy, noting that many existing AI mental health tools fail to account for cultural context.
