SUMMARY
- Masterplace, an AI-based edtech platform that assists tutors in creating, delivering, and monetizing comprehensive courses through artificial intelligence, secures €1.85 million in seed funding.
- Ilya Rouss, a serial entrepreneur with fifteen years of experience in technological projects and marketing, led a team of seasoned business and educational professionals that founded Masterplace.
With the support of a group of business angels and Masterplace creator Ilya Rouss, the cash will be used to introduce its AI-powered learning platform, which simplifies student tracking and evaluation, provides mentors with the ability to easily build courses, and offers content for students.
The platform will be perfect for people who have never taught before and for students who don't have any formal education but want to improve their abilities or switch careers.
Ilya Rouss, CEO and founder of Masterplace said, “Masterplace was born in response to the needs of content creators, helping them create and monetize their courses, when we noticed that only 10% of online course enrollees actually complete them. Therefore, we decided to create a structure that not only helps content creators save time and effort in course development but also provides incentives for users to successfully complete the courses they purchase,”.
Even though designing and developing a course can be difficult and time-consuming, it provides educators with a co-pilot avatar created by artificial intelligence (AI) to aid with content creation and structure.

The avatar also guides students through the course material according to their specific needs and context. Because of this, Masterplace strives to maximise knowledge transfer by providing instructors and learners with support throughout the educational process in addition to high-quality content.
Every educational resource created on it is a part of a blockchain, encouraging knowledge growth and protecting instructors' and students' intellectual property rights. It hopes to establish its sessions and material as recognised bibliographic references for upcoming scholarly work using this one-of-a-kind, non-fungible record.
